ONCE ELECTED IN 2023, I PLEDGE TO:

1.  Continuing to be a strong voice representing the interests of BCNU nurses

 

2.  Leading the creation of a strong supplemental health benefit upon retirement to complement the MPP benefit package, with enhanced vision and dental care, utilizing the Retiree Benefit Fund (the 1% fund)

​

3.  Developing and delivering Advanced Pension Workshops on methods to maximize Pensions during nurses' working years

​

4.  Developing and delivering specialized Workshops for nurses starting Leaves (e.g., Maternity; LTD) about their potential Pension and Benefits implications

​

5.  Presenting multiple in-person Pension Workshops in every region with extensive Q/A sessions, in addition to regular online presentations

​

6.  Regularly attending Regional meetings province wide, and re-activating the "Ask a Pension Question" cards

​

7.  Implementing two days per month for 1:1 sessions with member approaching retirement to better understand their many options and MPP retiring forms 

​

8. Advocating for an online feedback and reviews system for all BCNU Provincial Executive positions
